Funeral service for Gary R. Milton, 62, of Bastrop are scheduled for Monday, June 27, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Moffett officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 26, 2005 from 2 PM until 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Milton, a retired mechanic, died Friday, June 24, 2005 at Cherry Ridge Guest Care. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and served his country in the National Guard.
He is survived by his daughters, Kim Land and husband Marchel Allen of Bearden, AR, Kristy Milton of Bastrop, LA ; sisters, Maxine Stevenson and husband Hosie of Winnsboro, LA, Jimmie Lou Bradford and husband Hugh of Dallas, TX ; and brother, Don Milton and his wife Mary of Florida.
Mr. Milton is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Milton; son, Darren Milton; his parents, James Andrew & Lilly Mae Milton, and two brothers, Thomas and Charles Milton.
Pallbearers willk be Buzz Bowman, Tommy Braswell, Kenneth Davidson, Stan Sivils, Michael Strange and Charles Whitaker.
