Funeral services for Nadine Lindsey Baker, age 78, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Porter officiating.
Mrs. Baker, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse, passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2012. She attended Hughes Chapel Methodist Church and enjoyed playing cards with her neighbors and friends. She was excellent at crocheting and various handcrafts. She also made dolls and refurbished dolls for the needy.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband, A.M. Baker of Bastrop, LA; her daughters, Linda J. Howell of Beekman, LA, Anne Newsom and husband David of Grenada, MS, Becky Baker of Ruston, LA, and Lisa Nadine Baker of Florence, KY; her son, James A. Baker of Beekman, LA; brothers, Richard Lindsey, Jack Lindsey, both of Roland, OK, Dennis Lindsey of Fort Worth, TX; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
