Funeral services for Bonnie Ritchie Cummins are scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday June 26, 2005 at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church in Bastrop with Revs. Jim Taylor and Cal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 1:30 until service time at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church.
Mrs. Cummins, age 95, passed away Saturday June 25, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a homemaker and a resident of Bastrop. She was also a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church where she was active in the Keenagers Group.
She is survived by two children, Helen Shockey & husband Cleo of Bastrop, James Cummins & wife Myrna of Bastrop; daughter-in-law, Shirley Cummins of Crossett, AR; sister, Velma Roberts of Bastrop; special niece, Jo Ann Blazier of Bastrop; eight grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Cummins; son, Charles Cummins; and two brothers, Kermit Ritchie and A.C. Ritchie.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Ernie Shockey, Steve Shockey, Dave Shockey, Charlie Cummins, Monty Montcalm and Tony Morrison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Darrell Loveless and Jerry Spikes.
