Obituary of Harry Lambert

Funeral services for Harry Dean Lambert will be 11am Wed., June 2, 2004, at Golden Chapel, with the Revs. Steve Speer and Lee Hughart officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Lambert, 70, of Bastrop, was a sheet metal mechanic, a ship welder, and a retired Environmental Services Manager for the Methodist Psychiatric Pavillion in New Orleans. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church also serving as a deacon. Mr. Lambert is preceded in death by his parents, Fred S. Lambert, Sr. & Ruth Cook Lambert; and by a brother, Bobby Gene Lambert. Mr. Lambert is survived by his wife, Hazel Scoggins Lambert; a daughter, Allison Dean Hughart & husband Lee of Port Sulphur, LA; a sister, Lyndia Harris & husband Charles of West Monroe, LA; 5 brothers, Larry E. Lambert & wife Rose Ann of Dumas, TX, Fred S. Lambert, Jr. & wife Kathie of Rayville, LA, Billy Joe Lambert & wife Mary of Russelville, AR, Keith Lambert & wife Toni of Rayville, LA and Barney R. Lambert & wife Barbara of Columbus, GA; and a granddaughter, Clararuth Hughart. Visitation will be held Tues. June 1, 2004 from 5-8pm at Golden Funeral Home.
