Obituary of Tia Marie Mason Cooper

Funeral services for Mrs. Tia Marie Mason Cooper, age 48 and a resident of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Victory Tabernacle with Rev. Kevin Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5 PM until 8 PM at Victory Tabernacle. Mrs. Cooper, a member of Victory Tabernacle, was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed flowers, blue birds, and her favorite color was blue. She is survived by her husband, Toney D. Cooper; mother, Theresa Mason Barthol and husband Billy of Jones, LA; son, Brandon Lee Mason of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Donna Stover and husband Dell of Bastrop, LA, Starla Barton and husband Grant of Bastrop, LA; brothers, Kenny Mason and wife Karen of Bastrop, LA, Lenny Mason and wife Judy of Crossett, AR, Michael Shane Mason and wife Melanie of Beekman, LA, Shawn Mason of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Micah Snelling and Annabelle Nelson. She was a loving "NeNe" to McKenzlie, Macie, Mason, Jaythan, Abby, Anna and Gracie. Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by her father, William Howard Mason and her son Kevin DeWayne Cooper. Serving as pallbearers are: Kenny Mason, Lenny Mason, Michael Shane Mason, Shawn Mason, Will Stover and Brian Cooper.
