Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Nell Kane Conger, age 93, of Oak Ridge, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church with Rev. Donnie Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Conger, a homemaker and member of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Morehouse General Hospital. She was a member of the Pierian Club and also the Daughters of the Revolution.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Edwin Bernard Conger, Jr., Gretchen Conger Duff, Jon Bernard Conger, Sue Ann Conger Poling, Joe William Conger II and four great grandchildren.
Mrs,. Conger is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel William Conger and sons, Joe William Conger and Edwin Bernard Conger, Sr.
Serving as pallbearers are: Bruce Garner, Mike Garner, Clint Shepard, Johnny Fitch, Robert Barham and Gene Allen.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, Oak Ridge, LA.
