Obituary of Ray McIntyre

Funeral services for Mr. Ray McIntyre, age 92, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Friday, November 16, 2007 at First Assembly of God with Rev. Lloyd Trisler officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. McIntyre, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007. He was a retired employee of International Paper Company and member of First Assembly of God.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Martha White McIntyre; son, Donald McIntyre; great granddaughter, Faith Wood; great great grandson, Joshua O'Neal; parents, John D. McIntyre and Katie McIntyre Harvey; and two sisters and five brothers.
He is survived by four daughters, Rosalee Lowery & husband Charles of Bastrop, Clara Patrick & husband R.W. of Bastrop, Elaine Knight & husband Glen of Crossett, AR, Pauline Kinnaird & husband Venoy of Bastrop; sister, Marzelle Fife of Bastrop; brother, Melvin McIntyre of Bastrop; twelve grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Lowery, Carl Patrick, Barry Patrick, Dale Knight, Chris McCall, and Kenneth Stephenson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
