Graveside funeral service for Mr. Harold Vinson Keahey, age 89, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, July 15, 2005 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jim Ingram officiating.
Mr. Keahey, a retired pulpwood and logging contractor, was a member of First Baptist Church and also a veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Martille Robinson Keahey; two daughters, Carol Keahey Tubbs and her husband Ronnie of Bastrop, Margaret Keahey of Monroe, LA; son, Robert Keahey of Plano, TX; three sisters, Octavia Klick of Bastrop, Eugenia Duffy of Vicksburg, MS, Hazel Gillan and her husband Billy of Dermott, AR; five grandchildren, Scott Rouse and his wife Jennifer, Michael Tubbs, Emily Baker and her husband Mike, Robert Keahey, Jr. and his wife Jenny, Drew Keahey and one great granddaughter, Hannah Grace Tubbs.
Mr. Keahey is preceded in death by a brother, Travis Keahey; sister, Vera Lou Duffy, and a grandson, Jeffrey Paul Rouse.
