Graveside funeral services for Carl Dewayne Murphy, 63, of Hamburg, Arkansas are scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Eudora, Arkansas with Rev. Marvin Tabora officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Murphy, a retired farm worker and member of the Church of God of Prophecy, died Friday, July 22, 2005 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home in Bastrop.
He is survived by his mother, Syble Lee Murphy of Bastrop, LA; brother, Daniel Lee Murphy and wife Caroline of Apple Valley, CA; nephews and neices, Daniel Lee Murphy, Jr. and wife Cindy of Apple Valley, CA, Shelly Arnold and husband Jeff of Katy, TX, Kenneth Wayne Murphy and wife Shawn of Apple Valley, CA; great nephews and great neices, Shailyn, Tyler, Tanner, Kyle, Marissa, Daniel and Chad and several aunts and uncles.
Mr. Murphy is preceded in death by his father, Winford Durward Murphy.
Visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until 12 noon on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at Golden Funeral Home.
