Obituary of Scott Andrew Slagle

A memorial service for Scott Andrew Slagle, age 17, is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Ingram officiating. Scott, a resident of Mer Rouge, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2012. He was a junior at Bastrop High School where he was an honor roll student. Scott enjoyed spending time on his computer and rabbit hunting with his dad. He also liked walking and spending time with his dogs. Scott is survived by his father, Brian Slagle and wife Theresa; mother, Julie Slagle; paternal grandparents, Ken and Cheryl Slagle of Yellow Springs, OH; paternal great grandmother, Lillian Slagle of Springfield, OH; maternal grandparents, Randol and Sandy Williams of Kennett, MO, Ken and Diane Dytrt of Memphis, TN; maternal great grandmother, Dot Mathews of Bastrop, LA; uncles, Randol Tittle of Mer Rouge, LA, Joey Dytrt of Memphis, TN; aunts, Evie Dytrt Love of Memphis, TN, Dawn Slagle of Springfield, OH; his babies, Kiba and Duckie; and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandfather, Gene Slagle; paternal great grandparents, Fred and Donna McGath; maternal grandmother, Brenda Tittle; maternal great grandparents, Allen and Oneida Williams; and maternal great grandfather, A.J. Mathews.
