Obituary of Alvin Lenard

Funeral services for Alvin R. Lenard, 77, of Bastrop,LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, June 7,2004 at the Luna Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Marcus Akers officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Lenard , a retired paper maker for International Paper Company and member of the Luna Assembly of God Church died Saturday, June 5,2004 at Morehouse General Hospital. He is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Roncal of Crossett,AR, Janet Bingham and husband Donald of Bastrop, LA, Sonya Mock and husband Allan of Pearl River,LA; two sons, Marshall Lenard and wife Karan of Collinston,LA, Randy Lenard and wife Hope of Bastrop,LA; two sisters, Verdie Robert and Joyce Booth both of West Monroe,LA; two brothers, Milton Lenard and Calvin Lenard (twin) both of West Monroe, LA; eleven grandchildren, Jonah Jones, Tony Jones, Shane Bingham, Jennifer Mock, Amanda Mock, Joshua Lenard, Jenna Lenard, Bryan Roncal, Rebekah Lenard, Courtney Williams and Nathan Williams; three great grandchildren, Noah Jones, Bryson Gill and Alia Faith Jones. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ransom Lenard and Jessie Coates Lenard and a son, C.L. Lenard. Pallbearers will be Travis Booth, Prentiss Robert, Donald Johnston, Dale Shipley, Gene Maxwell, Sr., and Jeff Maxwell. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday, June 6,2004 at Golden Funeral Home.
