Funeral arrangements for Mr. Joe Gilbreath, age 57, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating.. Burial will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Gilbreath, a truck driver and resident of Bastrop, passed away Friday, October 5, 2012. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ione Gilbreath, and sister, Ilene Cannon.
He is survived by his daughter, Christi Gilbreath of Bastrop, LA; son, Joey Gilbreath of Murfreesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Brittany Gilbreath, Dallas Hobbs, Logan Gilbreath; and great grandchild, Jhordan Gilbreath.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bruce Thompson, Randy Mitchell, Denny Cannon, Jackie Courson, Robby Buffington, and Josh Foster.
