A graveside service of worship to celebrate the life of Ruth Jean Brown Ainsworth, 87, of Bastrop, was held Monday, October 8, 2012 at Christ Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Ainsworth was born on August 30, 1925. She passed away on October 5, 2012.
Survivors include her daughter, Pat Ainsworth Ethridge and son-in-law, Dick; grandchildren, Richard Ethridge, Ainslee Peters and husband Ben, Sarah Addie Bagwell and husband Curry; great grandchildren, Emmy Ethridge, Macy Ethridge, Alex Peters, Evans Peters, Sinclair Peters, Christian Bagwell, Addie Bagwell; sister, Johnnie Brown McLeod and husband Bobbie; brother, James Keith Brown and wife Jean; and several nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are Ben Peters, Curry Bagwell, Mark McLeod, Mark Calvin McLeod, Jason Waller, and Grayson Boucher.
The family would like to thank the staff and caregivers at LeGrand Healthcare Center and St. Joseph Hospice for their love and care shown to Mrs. Ainsworth.
