Graveside funeral services for Ruby Jewell King Huber, age 63, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Reeks Cemetery, Goodwill, LA. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Huber, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 in Houma, LA. She was a certified nursing assistant for many years. She was a devout Christian, loved her family, and was affectionately known as "Aunt Ju-Ju." She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Lane Huber Griffith Hampton and husband Scott of Bastrop, LA; son, Torre Neal Huber of Bastrop, LA; former husband, Fred Neal Huber; sisters, Miriam Ann King of Beekman, LA, Nell "Dinkie" Archer and husband Bill Archer, Jr. of Ferriday, La, Sharron Quick of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Miranda Jewell Griffith Owens and husband Eaan, Nia Dawn Huber, Megan Francis Huber Stewart and husband Billy, Corre Neal Huber and wife Whitney, Brandon Scott Hampton, James Anthony Griffith; great grandchildren, Kylie Breann Huber, Aubrey Ella Stewart, Aidan Chris Owens, Cayden Blaze Huber; nieces and nephews, Sarah McDonald Rucker, Monica McDonald Thurman, Micheal Allen King, Christy Lee Grubbs, Jennifer Villarreal, Angela Taylor Coats, Philip Hughes, Jr., Eric Taylor, Logan Leon Thurman, Hayley King, Chelsea Absher, Jay Grubbs, Jr., Gage Thurman, MaLanie Thurman, Christian Villarreal, Ryan Villarreal, Ethan Taylor, Aleigh Taylor. Ms. Huber is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Edward King; mother, Ruby Nell King White; brother, Christopher Bruce White; nephew, Christopher Scott Garcia.
