Graveside funeral services for Mr. William Charles "Stump" Holland, age 61, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Bartholomew Cemetery with Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday evening from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Holland, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007. He is preceded in death by his parents, Shorty Holland and Josephine Holland.
He is survived by two sisters, Joyce Carlock & husband Tommy of Michigan, Rita Carroll & husband Roy of Bastrop; brother, Everette Holland & wife Ann of Baton Rouge, LA; step-mother, Mary Holland of Mississippi; two step-sisters, Lorna Martin of Mississippi, Lisa Leach of Bastrop; step-brother, David Leach; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Wright, Billy Jones, Gary Stout, Scott Ricks, Ronald Holland, and Jamie Holland. The Boy Scouts of America are recognized as honorary pallbearers.
