Obituary of Mary Floyd Pruitt

Funeral services for Mary Floyd Pruitt, 95, of Jones, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2005 at the Golden Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Don Bryan, Gary Traylor and Wayne Young officiating. Interment will follow in the La Ark Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Pruitt, a homemaker, member of Holly Ridge Baptist Church and the Holly Lark Homemakers Club, passed away Monday, August 8, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Pruitt Watson and husband Willis Earl of Monroe, LA; son, Leland Levi "Jinks" Pruitt and wife Veda of Jones, LA; sister, Marjorie Bunch of Bastrop, LA; two brothers, E.B. Floyd, Jr. of Jones, LA, Louis Floyd of Bastrop, LA; four grandchildren, Kevin Earl Watson, Jill Lynne Watson, Darin "Moosie" Pruitt, Michael Paul Pruitt; three great grandchildren, Holly Chamberlyn Pruitt, Beau-Cannon Levi Pruitt and Thomas Cole Watson. Mrs. Pruitt is preceded in death by her husband Levi Thomas Pruitt. Serving as pallbearers are: Kevin Watson, Darin Pruitt, Michael Pruitt, Derl Johnson, Charles Cook and Jeff Floyd.
