Obituary of Dallas Quinn Gill

Funeral arrangements for Mr. Dallas Quinn Gill, age 41, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Lala Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in LA-ARK Cemetery, near Jones, LA. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Gill, a registered nurse, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007. He was a resident of Monroe. He was a graduate of Ouachita High School and graduated from Grambling University in 1991 with a degree in nursing. He was also a private pilot and a certified scuba diver. He loved to duck hunt and enjoyed going on sea cruises. He is preceded in death by his mother, Lou Neighbors. He is survived by his father, Robert Don Neighbors of Monroe; grandmother, Nonnie Taylor of Jones; sister, Sonya Greer & husband Bruce of Downsville; brother, Corbett Gill of Doyline; special niece, Caitlen Hinton of Downsville; two step-sisters, Cindy Murray & husband Jerry of Memphis, TX, Leslie Foster & husband Joe of Memphis, TX; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Casey Ragan, Will Ragan, Fred Barnette, Steve Bass, Butch Downing, and Bruce Greer.
