Obituary of Louise "Ease" Lusby

Funeral services for Mrs. Louise "Ease" Lusby, 68, of Mer Rouge, LA are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiating. Interment will follow in the Hall Cemetery (Hwy. 15, Monroe). Mrs. Lusby, a home health assistant, passed away Friday, December 28, 2007 at her residence. She is survived by her beloved friend, Bobby Mayo of Mer Rouge, LA; four daughters, Sharon and Allen Thomas of West Monroe, LA; Vickie and Barry Thibodeaux of Lubbock, TX, Nettie and Joel Fleeman of Bluffton, S.C., Trudy Hill of Mer Rouge, LA; three step children, Bobby and Sharon Mayo, Jr. of Jones, LA, Joseph Mayo of Bastrop, LA, Glenda Mayo of Bastrop, LA; six sisters, Jeanette Brennon of Swartz, LA, Peggy Johnson of Bastrop, LA, Nora Gray of Mer Rouge, LA, Sue Mayers of Houma, LA, Patsy Lusby of Bastrop, LA, Barbara Lusby Sisson of Mer Rouge, LA; nineteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Lusby is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Frank "Sonny" Lusby and a son, Joe Frank Lusby, Jr. Serving as pallbearers are: Chris Wyatt, Kyle Wyatt, Johnny White, Jr., Frankie Thomas, Joseph Mayo and Bobby Mayo, Jr. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday at Golden Funeral Home.
