Graveside funeral services for Ocie Don Carter, age 62, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday August 29, 2005, at Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Doug Edwards officiating. Mr. Carter, a resident of Bastrop and a retired employee of American Citadel, passed away at his residence August 27, 2005.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta Carter; two sons, Robert Guyewski & wife Linda, and Glen Guyewski & wife Janey; brother, E.D. Carter & wife Dolly; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Anita Carter.
He is preceded in death by a grandson, Mitchell Kielian.
Pallbearers will be Rodger Lebrun, Sr., Rodger Lebrun, Jr., George Almond, Scott Almond, Richard Boyte, and Frankie Boyte.
Visitation is scheduled for Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Monday 8 a.m. - noon at Golden Funeral Home.
