Obituary of Francis Geraldine Crenshaw

Funeral services for Mrs. Francis Geraldine Crenshaw, age 73, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2012 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Beekman cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Crenshaw, a homemaker and a former employee at Oakwoods, passed away Monday, November 12, 2012 in Monroe, LA. Mrs. Crenshaw is preceded in death by her parents, William Delton Kilcrease and Bertie Elizabeth Johnson Kilcrease; brothers, Ernest Kilcrease, Elmer Kilcrease; sisters, Willie Vee Mullins, Helen Sumrall; and special son-in-law, Carlton Vines. Mrs. Crenshaw is survived by her children, Gerald Crenshaw of Parkdale, AR, Sheila Vines of Parkdale, AR, Terry Crenshaw and wife Sheryl of Bastrop, LA, Monica Adams Oden and husband Fred of Bastrop, LA, Evelyn Freeland of Bastrop, LA, Christopher Kilcrease of Mer Rouge; sisters, Barbara Chesney of Monroe, LA, Betty Hughes of St. Amant, LA; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In honor of their mother, the children will serve as pallbearers and grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home.
