Funeral services for James William Lingefelt, age 51, of Bastrop, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday June 14, 2004, at the First United Pentecostal Church with Rev. James McFall officiating. Burial will follow in the McKnight Cemetery in Holly Ridge under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at First United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Lingefelt, a welder, died Friday June 11, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Dewanna Lingefelt; three daughters, Felchia Sebren & husband Richard of Bastrop, Chasidy Freeland of Bastrop, Arish Lucas & husband Lance of Bastrop; son, William Shane Lingefelt & wife Melissa of Bastrop; seven sisters, Louise Nordike, Betty Hodges, Shirley McKeithen, Mary Lilly, Elizabeth Morgan, Normie Strange, Sheila McPherson; four brothers, Henry E. Lingefelt, Tommy Lee Lingefelt, Jerry Lingefelt, Crafton Lingefelt; fourteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces & nephews. Mr. Lingefelt is preceded in death by a son, James Shannon Lingefelt; sister, Barbara Evans; and his parents, Henry A. & Betsy Lee Lingefelt. Pallbearers will be Steve Hodges, Jimmy Lingefelt, Jerry Lingefelt, Jr., Jeffrey Lingefelt, Chad Lingefelt, and Jeffrey Davis.
