Funeral Services for Mrs. Helen Freeman McGough are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. No visitation will be held.
Mrs. McGough, member of White Avenue Baptist Church, and former employee of Seligman's Department Store and Ireland's Jewelry loved spending time in her garden, cooking, and especially loved her family.
She is survived by her son, Robert M. McGough, Jr. and wife Bimi of Hensley, AR; her daughter, Helen Joann Hefner and husband Kenneth of W. Monroe, LA; her grandchildren, Robert M. McGough III, Kelly Jo Page, Kynn Hefner Bilbo, Kathi Jo Brodnax, Robert Laron Williams, Brian Wayne Williams, Scott Williams, seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Mrs. McGough is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Marcus McGough, her daughter, Jean McGough Warshaw, her parents, John Lenox Freeman and Mary Wingo Freeman.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jack Page, Robert Marcus McGough, III, Ryan Brodnax, Patrick Pearce, Gaston Bilbo, Dustin Gregory, and Robert Laron Williams.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caregivers of Oak Woods and Susan Musgrove, administrator as well as the staff.
