Obituary of Arnold David Hale

Funeral services for Mr. Arnold David Hale, age 48, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, November 29, 2012 in the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Hale, a floor installer, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012. David organized the trail rides to raise money for St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital and the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Association. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 51. David loved riding and breaking horses, spending time with his family, especially his grandbabies and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
He is survived by fiancee', Amanda Emanuel; daughters, Natasha Avery and husband Quincy, Whitney Hale; stepsons, Trey Strickland, Gene Strickland; brother, Donald Hale and wife Brenda; grandbabies, Brooklyn and Cason Avery, all of Bastrop, LA, niece, Erica Hale; and nephew, Christopher Hale.
Mr. Hale is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Darlene Hale and brother, Arnold Wade Hale.
Serving as pallbearers are; Shane Hale, Kenny Gandy, Joey Fontenot, Mark Fontenot, Keith Emanuel and Ricky Jackson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 6 PM- 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
