Obituary of Annie W. Rushing

Funeral services for Mrs. Annie W. Rushing, age 90, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, November 30, 2012 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Ray officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 8:30 until 10 AM service time Friday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Rushing, a homemaker and member of Riverside Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012. She is survived by her daughters, Pat R. Langston and husband Kenneth of Bastrop, LA; Aliene Ray and husband Mike of Oak Grove, LA; Ruby Williamson and husband Billy of Forrest, LA; sons, Leslie "Sonny" Forrest of Crossett, AR; Tim Rushing of Bastrop, LA; Herman Rushing and wife Earline of Bastrop, LA; sisters, Myrtleen Jenkins of Crossett, AR; Nancy Marter and husband Bruce of Crossett, AR; brother, Jessie "Jap" Watt of Crossett, AR; grandchildren, Anne Crymes and husband Pete, Brad Forrest, Sandra Merritt and husband Jared, Jessica Stutts and husband Justin, Melody Boyte and husband Michael, Shane Ray and wife Hope, Tim Allen Rushing and wife Jerri, Marilyn Rushing; daughter-in-law, Delores Watson, and ten great grandchildren. Mrs. Rushing in preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Rushing; two daughters, Judy Dampier and Shirley Forrest; parents, Jack and Lonnie Watt; five brothers, Lindsay, Melvin, Leroy, Troy, and Clyde Watt; one sister, Clarice Joiner. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Crenshaw, Bryan Nugent, David Watt, Brad Forrest, Tim Allen Rushing, Shane Ray, David Pipes and Tim Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Nelson Burchfield, John Shackleford, W. T. Blackwell and Donnie Allen. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Mike Smith and staff, Susan Musgrove and the staff of Oak Woods Home for the Elderly, and Premier Hospice.
