Funeral services for Josephine I. Bagwell, age 84, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday September 7, 2005 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Father Robert Inzina officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Bastrop. Mrs. Bagwell, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, September 4, 2005 at Morehouse General Hospital. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bagwell, a homemaker, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bastrop. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, A.A. "Boots" Bagwell, and a daughter, Theresa B. Gilmore.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathleen B. Hair and husband Charles of Mountain View, AR; three grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Wood, Richard D. Gilmore II, Melanie H. Trombatore; and six great grandchildren.
