Funeral service for Mrs. Sue McKeithen, age 86, of Bossier City, LA, formerly of Bastrop, are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, September 12, 2005 at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Cal Adams and Bro. Randy Riley officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. McKeithen, a retired Louisiana State Department of Welfare employee and member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, passed away Friday, September 8, 2005 at Willis-Knighten Hospital in Bossier City, LA. She is survived by her daughter, Marsha Clark and her husband Sandy of Mayer, AZ; a son, Danny Neal and his wife Janice of Shreveport, LA; two sisters, Bonnie Culbreath of Crossett, AR, Sarah Wallace of Bastrop, LA; four brothers, John M. Parker of Monroe, LA, James Parker of Huntsville, AL, Eugene Parker of Bastrop, LA, Bennett Parker of Pine Bluff, AR; four grandchildren, Michelle Gooding of Payson, AZ, Trisha Goodman of Owasso, OK, Shelly Milazzo of Shreveport, LA, Stephen Neal of Shreveport, LA, and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. McKeithen is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Mitchell Neal; parents, Joe and Leta Parker; sister, Mable Wood and brother, J.W. Parker. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Braxton, Stephen Neal, Barry Parker, Dennis Milazzo, Larry Culbreath and Bobby Kovac. Honorary pallbearers will be Deacons of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church and N.C."Brownie" Braxton. Visitation will be Sunday, September 11, 2005 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cherry Ridge Baptist Church.
