Obituary of Sr. Kendall

Graveside services for Jimmy Lee Kendall, Sr., age 62, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday June 15, 2004, at Bartholomew Cemetery with Rev. Jim Brent officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday and 8 a.m. until noon Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Kendall died Saturday June 12, 2004, at Oak Woods in Mer Rouge. Mr. Kendall was employed as a roofer and farmer and is preceded in death by his father, a brother, and two daughters. He is survived by his mother, Myrtle Christine White Kendall of Kilbourne; daughters, Mary Worthen of Pine Bluff, AR, and Linda Gail Kendall of Monroe; son, Jimmy Kendall, Jr. & wife Barbara of Pine Bluff, AR; step-sons, Gerald Templeton of Bastrop,and Eddie Jackson of Bastrop; sister, Sadie Plymale of Houston, TX; brother, John T. Kendall, Sr. & wife Annie Loiuse of Kilbourne; four grandchildren, Gladys Bailey, Crystal Ray, David Stephens, Jr., Madeline Tilton; four great grandchildren, Dylan Ray, Gabrielle Myers, Gary Myers, and Mary Bailey. Pallbearers will be Tommy Kendall, Roy Kendall, Gary Young, Robert Amador, David Pennington and Dow Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Collins, Alvin Pennington and Don Young. Mr. Kendall will be remembered as a beloved father, brother and grandfather. He may be gone, but not forgotten.
