Obituary of Ezra Marion Cook

Funeral services for Mr. Ezra Marion Cook, 77, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, December 14, 2012 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Francis Smith, Bro. Newton Smith, and Bro. Bob Lonadier officiating. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 PM until 8 PM Thursday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Cook passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2012. He was a retired butane truck driver, a member of Horseshoe Baptist Church, and he loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his daughter, Vicky Naff and husband Steve, and a son, James Cook and wife Tammy all of Crossett, AR; three sisters, Mary Hogan and husband Lon, Imogene Ralph, and Maxine Gates; one brother, Kenneth Cook; five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Mr. Cook is preceded in death by his parents James Cook and Edna Herrington Cook; step-mother, Hazel Cook; daughter, Rena Cook Patterson, four brothers and one sister.
