Obituary of Edith Kyser Robertson

A service celebrating the life of Edith Kyser Tilton Robertson, 95, of Bastrop, LA will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 at The Arbor. Friends and family are invited to attend at 1:00 PM and stay for a time of visitation following the service. Edith was born on January 25, 1917 in Warren, AR. She passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 in Bastrop. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Edwards; a grandson, Thomas Roth; a great grandson, Jacob Roth; sister, Nell Harrell; brother-in-law, Don Higginbotham; sister-in-law, Delores Kyser; many nieces, nephews and the children and grandchildren of her late husband, Albert Tilton. Mrs. Robertson is preceded in death by her parents, James and Eva Kyser; ex-husbands, Albert Tilton and Rex Robertson; brother, James Kyser, Jr.; sisters, Jimmie Ball, Doris Brady and Betty Higginbotham. She was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bastrop. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to her church at 310 S. Washington St., Bastrop, LA 71220. Interment will be held at a later date in Christ Church Cemetery.
