Graveside services for Mr. Guy Edward Gregory, Sr., age 73, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, December 22, 2012 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Jordy McKaskle officiating.
Mr. Gregory, a retired pipeliner, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012. He loved life, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He and his many stories will be greatly missed.
Mr. Gregory is survived by his sons, Guy Edward Gregory, Jr. and wife Patti Dawson Gregory, John William Gregory; grandchildren, Nicholas Gregory, Kelli Gregory Mull and husband Colin, Molly Gregory, Tanner Gregory; great grandchildren, Madelyn Gregory, Addison Gregory, Miley Kate Gregory; brothers, Sam Gregory, Thomas "Buddy" Gregory; sister, Ellen "Sis" Gregory; many nieces and nephews and many of them were also great friends; and the mother of his children, Bonnie Deal Gregory Moore and husband Mike.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam Alexander and Carrie Vestina Thompson Gregory; brothers, Roy Gregory, Jimmy Gregory, Johnny Gregory, Bill Gregory; sisters, Dora Gregory Matheny, Ada Gregory Osborn, Mary Louise Gregory Matheny, Vera Gregory Wilson and Dorothy Gregory Stokes.
Visitation will be held Friday, December 21, 2012 from 5 PM - 8 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
