Graveside funeral services for Mr. Leonidas Stewart Southall, age 49, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bastrop, LA. Visitation will be held Friday 6-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Stewart, a retired truck driver and resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL, and a member of the Mt. Gerzim Masonic Lodge in Bastrop.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonidas and Patricia Southall, and mother-in-law, Nancy Priester Cox.
Stewart is survived by his wife, Priscilla Cox Southall of Montgomery, AL; son, George R. Barnes of Birmingham, AL; daughter, Brandi D. Barnes of Birmingham, AL; grandson, William Mason Barnes of Birmingham, AL; aunt and uncle, Jerry and Gloria Calloway and family of Greenville, SC; and numerous cousins, other relatives, and caretakers Johnnie Mae Stubbs and Mary Green.
