Funeral services for C.L. Cheshier, 83, of Bastrop will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday September 18, 2005 at Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Warren offciating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday September 17, 2005 at Memorial Methodist Church.
Mr. Cheshier, a retired Single Service employee and veteran of World War II. passed away September 15, 2005. He was a member of Memorial Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Beatrice Cheshier; son, Chris Chesier of Dallas, Tx; three sisters, Francis Russell of Bastrop, Ruby Hugeley of Rutherford, TN, and Bea Rhodes of Rison, AR.
Mr. Cheshier was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. C.L. Cheshier and four sisters, Sue Seymour, Trecie Smith, Mirl Kauffman and Gladys Tipton.
Pallbearers will be Charles Wright, Billy Eppinette, Jimmy Smith, Bobby Smith, Tommy Culp, Jeffrey Smith, Flint Robertson, and John Lang.
A Memorial Tree was planted for C.L.
