Obituary of Shirley Ann Goodson White

Shirley Ann Goodson White, a homemaker, was born in Wilmot, AR on August 28, 1939 and departed this life on January 17, 2013. Funeral services for Shirley Ann Goodson White, age 73 and a resident of Bastrop, LA, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby White and Rev. Don Walker officiating. Interment will be in La Ark Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. She is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Grace Ann; her parents, Harold Goodson and Dorothy Sivils Goodson; one sister, Betty J. Goodson; and one brother, Harold Goodson, Jr. Shirley is survived by her husband, William White of Bastrop, LA; three sons, Billy White and daughter-in-law Kim of Pontiac, MI, Alan White and daughter-in-law Beth of Ortonville, MI, Glen White and daughter-in-law Deb of Pontiac, MI; two daughters, Debbie Tiernan of Bastrop, LA, Kim White of Bastrop, LA; three sisters, Minnie Herrington and husband Spencer of Bonita, LA, Carolyn Stephens and husband Marshall of Mer Rouge, LA, Janie Walker and husband Don of West Lake, LA; four brothers, Buddy Goodson and wife Virginia of Crossett, AR, Johnny Goodson and wife Pauline of West Monroe, LA, Thomas Goodson and wife Pam of Bonita, LA, Mark Goodson and wife Geraldine of Bonita, LA; ten grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
