We had the honor and pleasure of being a small part of Mickey's life for the past 20+ years; whether a night on the town or enjoying Von's cooking at home, a good time was had by all. Mickey was always ready with a smile and kind words for all she encountered. Heaven has gained another angel and the world has lost a great lady! Rest in peace wrapped in our lord's arms, Mickey. I am so sorry to learn of Mickey's death. I graduated from Bastrop High School with her in 1962. Recently, another classmate and I were wondering whatever happened to Mickey. We missed her at our 50th class reunion last April. I don't think I've seen Mickey since graduation. I wish I would have known she lived so close and was sick. May God comfort her family during this difficult time.
