Obituary of Julia Sanders Boyer

Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Julia Sanders Boyer, age 88, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, January 21, 2013 at Victory Tabernacle Church with Revs. Kevin Sanders and Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Boyer, a member of White Avenue Baptist Church and a retired employee of Lagniappe Health Care, formerly Summerlin Lane Nursing Home, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013. She loved God, her husband and family, working in her yard and cooking for her family. Mrs. Boyer is survived by three daughters, Judy Davis, Connie Sears and Bobbie Beebe; four sisters, Melba Jean Bass, Doris Rawles, Bessie Lee Thomas, Willie Mae Dooley; five brothers, Bobby Joe Sanders, Billy Sanders, Eugene Sanders, Marvin Sanders and Jerry Sanders; five grandchildren, Kim McClusky, Tammy Whitehead, Rachel Templeton, Niki Potter, Chris Beebe; fifteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elton Boyer; her parents; brothers, Lavelle Sanders, Wayne Sanders; granddaughter, Cheri' Mitchell and son-in-law, David Beebe. Serving as pallbearers are: Chris Beebe, Chris Potter, Todd Whitehead, Jaime Davis, Cory Jones, Dustin Whitehead and Caleb Harrell. Honorary pallbearers are: Nicholas Templeton, Kody Templeton, Hagan Beebe and Kason Potter.
