Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Mae Maxcey Caffery, age 81 of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Petrus officiating. Interment will follow in New Forrest Cemetery (Pioneer, LA) under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Caffery passed away Friday, January 18, 2013 at Lagniappe Health Care Center. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Caffery Burge, Betty Caffery Jones and Verna "Lucy" Caffery Deal all of Bastrop, LA; sister, Ethel Walker of New Orleans, LA; two brothers, Walter Maxcey of Forrest, MS, John Maxcey of Morrton, MS; grandchildren, Vernon Harris, Eric Harris, Danny Bennett, Jr., Wanda Malone, Penny McGurk, Timothy Caffery, Tina Deal, Ashley Ray Caffery; God-grandson, Andy Yarbrough, Jr.; great grandchildren, Rachel Harris, Sadie Harris, Clinton J. Harris, Breanna Harris, Anthony Harris, Ty Harris, Matthew Harris, Austin Harris, Dalton McGurk, Cody McGurk, Kaleb McGurk, Raigen Malone, DWayne Malone; great God children, Mason Yarbrough and Bryce Yarbrough. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Alfred Caffery, two sons, Donald Ray "Buddy" Caffery, Larry Wayne Caffery and grandchildren, Bobby Wayne Barton, Horace Barton, Jr. and Donald Wayne Bennett. Pallbearers will be; Wesley Ragus, Lynn Deal, Vernon Harris, Andy Yarbrough, Jr., Andy Yarbrough, Sr., and Tina Deal.
