Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Hicks, age 87, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday from 5-8 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hicks, a retired City of Collinston town clerk, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2013. She is preceded in death by her husband, two sons, and two grandsons.
She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Aldridge, Betty Jones, Carole Davis; daughter-in-law, Karen Simpson; two sisters, Loretta Hicks, Shirley Foradori; brother, Duane Wheeler; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Carlisle, Jason Clevenger, Phillip Wheeler, Darrel Wheeler, Brandon Gilbreath, and Clarence Fontenot. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Oser, Don Fontenot, and Barry McMilleon.
