Obituary of Mary White

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lee White are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at the First Apostolic Church in Bastrop with Rev. J.T. Wheat officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. On February 16, 2008, Mrs. Mary Lee White, age 66, of Bastrop, was carried home to her Heavenly Father on the wings of angels. Mrs. White was a retired Assistant Manager at Jordache in the Bastrop and Oak Grove area and also a member of the First Apostolic Church in Bastrop. Mary Lee Cureington married David White on November 8, 1963. They enjoyed 44 years of life and love and their love for God together. She is survived by her husband David White; three daughters, Belinda Stell and husband Hank of Crossett, AR, Sarah Knight and husband Greg of Hamburg, AR, Lori Freeman of Bastrop, LA; six grandchildren, Tiffany Maxwell, Heather Hackett, Jessica White, Holly Freeman, Brandon Knight and wife Wendi, Blake Knight; five great grandchildren, Madison Hackett, Noah Hackett, Gage Hackett, Riddick Knight, Raini Knight; sister, Betty Stinson; four brothers, Leroy Cureington and wife Carolyn, Calvin Cureington and wife Beverly, Ricky Cureington and wife Ellen and Eugene Cureington. Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Dorothy Halbrook Cureington and an infant daughter, Robin Cureington. Pallbearers will be David Stofer, Ralph Reynolds, Joe McDaniel, Jerry McDaniel, Jonathan White and David Wheat. Visitation will be held Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the church.
