Funeral services for Grace Witcher, age 23 months, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Canaan Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Wright officiating. Interment will follow in La-Ark Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-9 p.m. at Canaan Baptist Church.
Grace passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 with her grandfather, Oscar "Papa" White, who was attempting to rescue her.
She is survived by her mother, Kimberly White of Bastrop; father, Scott W. Witcher of Bastrop; grandparents, Violet "Mooters" White of Bastrop, William & Shirley White of Bastrop, Sharon Wells Harris & husband Kerry of Bastrop; sister, Sarah Honaker of Bastrop; and two brothers, Don Honaker and Jacob Witcher, both of Bastrop.
