Funeral services for Mr. Clifton Glen Bryant, age 76, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Goodman officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 5-9 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Bryant, a cabinet maker, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2008 at Morehouse General Hospital. He was a resident of Bastrop. Mr. Bryant was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pauline & Dick Hughes, Ernest Bryant; and daughter, Rebecca Lynn Stanfill.
He is survived by seven children, Clifton Bryant & wife Debbie of Bastrop, Perry Bryant & wife Patti of Ohio, Ricky Bryant of Colorado, Cathy Parks & husband Wayne of Texas, Mary Rice & husband Amber of Arkansas, Kim Williams of Colorado, Gerald Bryant of South LA; sister, Darlene Hale of Bastrop; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bardell Bostick, Jerry McQuillin, Josh Bryant, Brother Musgrove, Ricky Jackson, and Ricky Jackson, Jr.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Clifton
