Funeral services for Myrna Pennington Cummins, 64, of Bastrop will be at 10:30 AM Saturday, October 1, 2005 at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs. Jim Taylor and Cal Adams officiating. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Cummins, a retired Health Information Department employee at Morehouse General Hospital and member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at St. Luke's Hospital in Houston, TX.
She is survived by her husband, James Cummins; 2 daughters, Paula Morrison & husband Tony of Sterlington, LA, Penny Montcalm & husband Monty of Bastrop; 2 sisters, Annetta Langley of Crossett, AR, Carolyn Barnett of Crossett, AR; brother, Gary Doss of Crossett, AR; 5 grandchildren, Josh Morrison, Jordan Heckford, Jacob Morrison, Micah Heckford, and Zeb Montcalm.
Pallbearers will be, Zane Tubbs, Charles Burns, J. H. Lockwood, Buddy Richards, Charles Rider, and Jerry Goodman.
Honorary pallbearers will be, Dr. Carter Cox, Jerry Spikes, and Quenton Burchfield.
Visitaion will be 5:30 - 9 PM Friday, September 30, 2005 at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cherry Ridge Baptist Church.
