Graveside funeral services for Gladys Tommy Copeland Wilson, age 102, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Willis Wilkerson officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday from noon until 2 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilson, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008 at Summerlin Lane Nursing Home. She was a former paper mill cafeteria employee.
Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, John W. Wilson, Jr.; son, Clarence Amos Hink; parents, Tom R. Copeland and Kisiah Gardner Copeland; and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two children, John Wesley Wilson III and wife Dianne of Collinston, Beth DeVille and husband Billy of Bastrop; daughter-in-law, Willie Sue Hink of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren, Clarence Luke "Butch" Hink and wife Shirley of Roanoke, VA, Clarissa Jean Hink Lott and husband Steve of Helena, MT, Carolyn June Hink of Mobile, AL, Cynthia Joanne Hink Rafada and husband Louie of Mobile, AL, Cathy Jennier Hink of Mobile, AL, John Mark DeVille and wife Stephanie of Owasso, OK, Matthew Devin DeVille and wife Beth of Baton Rouge, LA; three great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
