Funeral services for Mr. Glen A. Dreher, age 86, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 2:30 PM Sunday, March 3, 2013 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Mr. Joe Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Dreher, a retired heavy equipment operator, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Morehouse General Hospital. Mr. Dreher was a member of Bastrop Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by Betty Dreher, his wife of 51 years; daughter, Lisa Dreher Yokum and husband Greg of Austin, TX; sons, David Dreher of Bastrop, LA, Paul Dreher and wife Kelly of Kenner, LA, Glen A. Dreher, Jr. of Marana, AZ; sister, Dorothy Wilson and husband Jason of Niceville, FL; grandchildren, Ethan Yokum, Ryan Yokum, Celeste Dreher, Thomas Dreher and wife Ashley, Kadi Malek and husband George, Kristen Kleinschrodt and husband Brian, Karoline Dreher, Zachary Dreher, Joshua Dreher and wife Tina, Aaron Dreher and five great grandchildren.
Mr. Dreher is preceded in death by his first wife, Georgia Sriver Dreher; infant son, Allan Keith Dreher; his parents; and 6 brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be David Dreher, Paul Dreher, Greg Dreher, Thomas Dreher, Jake Maxwell and Michael Glover.
