Obituary of Larry Oris Goyne

Funeral services for Mr. Larry Oris Goyne, age 73, of Crossett, AR, are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Meridian Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery, Crossett, AR under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Goyne, a retired employee from Georgia Pacific after 39 years, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013. He was a member of Meridian Baptist Church and served as a Deacon over forty years. Mr. Goyne loved his grandchildren and working in his garden. He is survived by his wife, Billie Brodnax Goyne; daughter, Holli Courson and husband Britt; son, Ashley Goyne and wife Krista; sisters, Sue Aulds and husband Hubert, Linda Anderson, Sylvia Dye and husband Gene, Sharon Sisson and husband Ted; brothers Luther Goyne and wife Paula, Bruce Goyne and wife Becky; grandchildren, Lindsey Roberts, Katlyn Goyne, Savannah Goyne, Sophie Courson and Hope Spurlock. Mr. Goyne is preceded in death by his parents, Oris and Eula Mae Goyne. Pallbearers will be Randy Aulds, Todd Aulds, Case Griever, Herman White, Earl Farrar and Danny Jordan. The deacons of Meridian Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers along with Lance Brookings. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 9, 2013 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Meridian Baptist Church.
