Obituary of Wilma Mae Kellick

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Mae Kellick, age 95, of Mer Rouge, LA, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at the Bonne Idee Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jerry Stuckey and Sister Rita Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in Red Wing Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Kellick was a member of Bonne Idee Assembly of God. Her church family was an important part of her life. She taught a children's Sunday school class for many years and worked in the women's missions class and was a prayer warrior for all. She felt blessed to have her family and we were so blessed to have her for 95 wonderful years. Mrs. Kellick is survived by her daughter, Margaret Sherwood and husband Robert of Oak Grove, LA; son, J.C. Kellick and wife Shirley of Mer Rouge, LA and a brother, Ewell Binkley and wife Barbara of Henning,TN. Wilma was a loving mawmaw to her grandchildren, Nicky Kellick and wife Lanell, Gwen Sherwood Fields and husband Carroll, Tammy Sherwood Guerrero and husband Benny, Randy Kellick and wife Shannon as well as her extended family of great grandchildren, Ashton, Aharon, Candace, Cole, Courtney, Baylee, Mallory, Erika, John-Major and Tanner; four wonderful great great grandchildren, Kade, Peighton, Wren and Ward. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Kellick, three brothers and one sister. Serving as pallbearers are, Benny Guerrero, Carroll Fields, Cliff Ferrell, Tanner Kellick, Jason Cole Fields and Jackie Sims. Honorary pallbearer is Mikel Kellick.
