Funeral services for Monie Loveday Mixon, age 63, of Mer Rouge, LA are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, March 13, 2013 in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Andy Myrick officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Monie loved her family, friends and employees of Oak Woods Home for the Elderly. She was also a faithful attendee at the church services that were held at Oak Woods.
She is survived by her mother, Ernestine Loveday of Bastrop, LA; sister, Sandy Shrode and husband Joe of Toccoa, GA; brother, Rev. Mike Loveday and wife Virginia of Bastrop, LA; nieces, Heather, Julie, Tasha; nephew, Randy; five great nieces and five great nephews.
Monie is preceded in death by her father, Frank J. Loveday.
Pallbearers will be: Jordan Teffault, Brandon Loveday, Eric Hightower, Ronnie Loveday, Danny McGraw, and Melvin Richard.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 5 PM - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
