Obituary of Jr. De Ville

Funeral services for Mr. Claude David De Ville, Jr., age 77 of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 3 PM Friday, March 15, 2013 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Lynch and Rev. Bill Molden officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 AM until 12 Noon Friday at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. De Ville was a retired International Paper Company employee with 43 years of service. He attended the Church Of God. Mr. De Ville passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at his home. He enjoyed collecting, restoring, and driving Ford Model T's and Model A's. He raised Hereford cattle and dug and installed water wells. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Erna Faye De Ville; his children, Allen De Ville of Bastrop, LA, Georgia De Ville of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Patrick Lee De Ville, Tommy D. Kendrick III and wife Shaloe; and one great grandchild, Conner Denson Kendrick. Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Lee De Ville, Tommy Kendrick, Ron Scott, Bro. John McGregor, Jerry Deville, and Mark Graves.
