Obituary of Lorraine Faith Miles Calhoon

Lorraine Faith Miles Calhoon, age 75, passed away suddenly on March 15, 2013 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. Arrangements will be made by Golden Funeral Home. Lorraine, a homemaker, was born on October 23, 1937 and resided in Crossett, AR but was a long time resident of Pueblo, CO. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wilbur Leroy "Sonny" Calhoon; her parents, Otto and Mildred Miles; her brother, Nathan Hook; son-in-law, Michael Goldsberry and two great grandsons, Christian and Shawn. Lorraine is survived by her sons, Danny Calhoon and wife Kathy, Allen Calhoon and wife Kellie, all of Pueblo, CO; daughters, Debra Richter and husband Heinz of West Valley, UT, Peggy Goldsberry of Bastrop, LA, Karen Wilson and husband Joe of Crossett, AR; two brothers, Marvin Miles of Washington, Ronald Miles of Hamburg, AR, several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. A private memorial and celebration of her life will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 in Crossett, AR. Per her and Wilbur's request, she will be cremated and their ashes will be scattered together in the Colorado Mountains.
