Obituary of Stanley Lamarcus Fairchild

Funeral services for Mr. Stanley Lamarcus Fairchild, 39, of Monroe, are scheduled for 3 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the Chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Kym Bearden and David Tidwell officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 1 PM until service time at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Fairchild, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2008 in Monroe, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Prairie View Academy and University of Louisiana at Monroe. Mr. Fairchild was a volunteer at the Main Line Call Center for numerous years and was chosen Volunteer of the Year for three years. He is survived by maternal grandmother, Rosie Stanley of Delhi, LA; sisters, Marcia Allen and husband Mike of Monroe, LA, Anita Sivils and husband Randy of Houston, TX; nieces, Holly Allen and Chasity Allen, both of Monroe, LA; Staci Carlson and husband Bill; great niece, Chatham Fairchild Carlson, all of Houston, TX; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, Tammy Stokes, Frances Rhone, Marie Golden and Jeff Jones. Mr. Fairchild is preceded in death by his parents, Lamarcus Chester Fairchild and Shirley Stanley Fairchild. Pallbearers will be Mike Johnson, Todd Johnson, Jim Hayes, John Tidwell, Ben Tidwell and Lonnie Polk.
