Obituary of Eddie Dewayne Gunter

Funeral services for Mr. Eddie Dewayne Gunter, age 51, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Believers Worship Center with Rev. Chris Croswell officiating. Interment will follow in Gunter Cemetery. Mr. Gunter, of Mer Rouge, LA, passed away March 24, 2013. Mr. Gunter was a member of the Pentecost Faith and loved fishing. Mr. Gunter is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Mr. Gunter is survived by his parents, George L. "Tapper" Gunter and R. Earline Gunter of Mer Rouge, LA; siblings, George T. Gunter and wife Sonya of Jones, LA, Johnny Gunter and wife Margaret Pruitt of Bastrop, LA, Charles V. Gunter and wife Wanda of Swartz, LA, Janice Gunter Reynolds and husband Dale Reynolds of Beekman, LA, Dale Gunter and wife Ann of Bastrop, LA, Ronald Lynn Gunter of Mer Rouge, LA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Tharp, Danny Miller, Tommy Bradley, William Doke, Thomas Gunter, Gene Gunter, Jerry Eppinette, and Chris Lewis. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Believers Worship Center.
